Okay so I started this series called Marked, or the House Of Night Novels, and I got to say they are addictive. However the lead character is quite a little ho. The first book is called Marked. Its good and doesnt leave you with much of a clifhanger.
Okay so the basic over view of the story is that there is this "change" that happens when a vamp "marks" you which is really a random vamp coming up to you and touching your forhead and you get a pretty and painless tatue accrost your forehead that is supposed to be an outline until you make it through the change. Well like every main character Zoey's mark ends up fully colored in before she even gets to vamp school. Apparently she is choosen by the vamp goddess to be a messenger girl and ends up in high priestess training and head of the Dark Daughters and Sons which is like the biggest club in the school.
It's actually a good book minus the fact that everyday famous people are said to be vamps like shakespear, and a lot of actors and singers.
The vamps can go out in the sunlight but it hurts so they stay in, they don't sparkle.
However later on in the seiries you meet the sterotypicle vamps that can't go out in the sunlight or they dy.
now that i've ruined most of the books for you go out and get yourself a copy they are fun, addictive, and zoey the main charactor is a complete ho.
